Mandela's Medallion

14.00

Freedom and peace was always something the late Nelson Mandela fought for until the day of his untimely death. This commemorative gold necklace depicts just that with the face of the late Nelson Mandala etched into the piece. With intricate detailing such as the word "Freedom" encrusted with rhinestones and his native flag within the background which are symbolic of things near and dear to him.

Fun Fact:

Rolihlahla (aka Nelson) Mandela was born into the Madiba clan in Mvezo, Transkei, on July 18, 1918, to Nonqaphi Nosekeni and Nkosi Mphakanyiswa Gadla Mandela, principal counsellor to the Acting King of the Thembu people, Jongintaba Dalindyebo (http://www.nelsonmandela.org)
